Most Memorable Professional Moment:
I will never forget working with a gentleman who had a traumatic amputation and replant of several digits of his dominant hand. We helped him through the recovery process of several corrective surgeries. It was gratifying to see the physical improvements he made as he gradually regained function of his badly mangled hand. Because of the severity of his injury, he did not return to his former job, but was able to find enjoyment and fulfillment in a new occupation working with kids.
