History at Glinn & Giordano:
Tonya was introduced to Glinn & Giordano Physical Therapy while she was a patient in college. Rehabilitation from an ACL reconstruction gave her a first-hand insight into the field of physical therapy as well as the treatment philosophy of Glinn & Giordano. After returning to school in Texas, she decided to pursue a career in physical therapy. Upon her graduation, she returned to Bakersfield and joined David Rous at our Southwest location. During her career Tonya has spent time at both our Northwest and Southwest locations and developed a strong following of patients because of her exceptional outcomes.
Community Service:
Tonya has continued Glinn & Giordano’s tradition of community service by volunterring at Centennial High School football games and at local gymnastics events. Tonya has provided information for countless speaking engagements and worked to develop a greater understanding of injury prevention in Kern County.
Hobbies/Activities:
When Tonya is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and baby boy. During her free time you might find her on the golf course or long distance running. FUN FACT: Tonya has been referred to as “Top Gun.” You will have to ask her why when you meet her.
