Most Memorable Moment As a Physical or Occupational Therapist:
I once had a patient with a broken ankle from a motor vehicle accident. She would always come in for therapy in a somber mood. During one visit I asked why she was so sad and she told me that she had lost her daughter in the accident. Every time she came in it reminded her of the loss. Over time she began to heal both her ankle and heart. She told me that she feels better every day she leaves because it’s a step closer to recovery in both her ankle and her heart.
